Micro silica, also known as silica fume or condensed silica fume, is a byproduct of the production of RHA-Rice Husk Ash. It is an ultrafine powder consisting of sub-micron sized particles of amorphous silicon dioxide, which are much smaller than those found in traditional silica sand. Micro Silica is used as a mineral admixture in the production of high-performance concrete, where it can improve the strength, durability, and impermeability of the material. When added to concrete, it fills in the gaps between the cement particles, increasing the density of the material and reducing the amount of pore space.
